Jerzy Tyburski

Painting? The more I delve into it, the more it consumes me

Jerzy Tyburski, fot. Andrzej Szumowski Jerzy Tyburski was born in 1964 in Lubaczow. He graduated from the State Secondary School of Visual Art in Zamosc and then studied in the Faculty of Art History in the Catholic University of Lublin. From 1986 to 1989 he also attended classes in the art studios of Prof. Marian Stelmasik and Prof. Jacek Wojciechowski in the Institute of Art Education of the Maria Curie-Sklodowska University in Lublin. He received his diploma in 1989. He has twice been awarded the scholarship of the Ministry of Culture and Art. He is a member of the Association of Polish Artists and Designers. He practices painting and drawing.

2010 - "Konfrontacje" Polish Painting Competition - distinction
2013 - "Morando" Zamosc Personality of the Year 2012 (nomination)
2017 - Decoration of Honor Meritorius for Polish Culture
2022 - Cultural Award of Lubelskie Province
